AMBASSADORS

BUSINESS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIPS

Develop programs of interaction between the business community and local schools. This includes classroom presentations, field trips, etc. Chaired by Brian Zeeck of Hinshaw & Culbertson (630-505-0010)

COMMUNITY ARTS COMMITTEE
This committee works on projects to improve the overall appearance of the community in general. Recent projects have included murals for the pedestrian walkway in downtown and 2002 Birdhouses of Lisle project, 2003 hot-air balloon sculptures,2007Benches projects, 2008 Rain Barrels Project. COMMUNITY AND BUSINESS EXPO
This annual event highlights the business/organizations in the Lisle Area Chamber. An opportunity to showcase one's business is afforded at this large gathering held each Year. Chaired by Tom Althoff, Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce (630-964-0052)

DINNER DANCE
The Dinner Dance Committee coordinates publicity and silent auction activities as needed for the Chamber's annual awards ceremony. DOWNTOWN BUSINESS COUNCIL
This group works toward the promotion and improvement of the central business district. Chaired by Randy Russell, Wine Expressions, (630-435-9463)

5K RACE

GOLF OUTING
The Golf Outing Committee plans, organizes and conducts the golf outing enjoyed by both members and non-members each summer. Co-Chaired by James Van Ham, Country Insurance & Financial Services, Van Ham Agency (630-963-9600) and Lynn McKenzie, Alphagraphics (630-964-9600)

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Studies and advocates ways for business and government to work together better. This Committee meets once a month. Chaired by Brad Hettich, Old Second National Bank (630-305-4644)

LISLE EXECUTIVE NETWORKING GROUP
Provides executive networking opportunities in an informal setting. This Committee meets twice a month. Chaired by Bill Liska, A Lot of Great Stuff (630-362-5105)

LEADS GROUP
Develops new, additional and profitable business through networking with other Chamber members. This Committee meets twice a month. Chaired by Sara Webb, XO Communications (630-371-3490)

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
This committee awards the annual scholarships to high school students. Chaired by Sandra Gill (630-829-6216)

SEMINAR/TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
This committee plans seminars for the local business community; and helps update the Chamber website when necessary. New members are always welcome. Chaired by Susan Ross, The Morton Arboretum (630-719-2414)

SMILE DAYS/DEPOT DAYS
Lisle Smile Days is a family event designed to welcome Lisle and the surrounding community residents to downtown Lisle and promote the downtown businesses. Depot Days provides opportunities for education and historical views of Lisle in conjunction with the Lisle Depot Museum. TRASH & TREASURES
Lisle's community garage sale is held each year in June. This event is a community service, provided by the Chamber and is available to the general public. Chaired by Wendy Nadeau, Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce (630-964-0052)

WOMEN IN BUSINESS

Women in Business provides an opportunity to meet other women in business, develop relationships, educate, improve skills, pass referrals and empower each other by sharing group talent, inviting subject matter experts to speak, networking and participating on special committees for community events. YPN  (Young Professionals Network)
